off to drive the tesla
The nice folks at Tesla have arranged a day with their electric roadster for us on the 14th. Looking forward to seeing what this thing can do, 0-60 is supposed to be about 3.6 sec. Could be a lot of fun.

Oh yeah, electric cars have lots of torque and smooth power delivery... right up until the batteries die. Wonder what replacement of the battery pack will cost, please ask them.

Sounds like Tesla can use all the ink they can get. According to one article they are in deep doo-doo as they are nowhere close to requiring all of the Elise chassis they are committed to purchasing within the next year.

The Model S that is coming out in 2 years time looks beautiful, kind of like an Aston Martin.
