My $1150 vintage Mc set-up

Now that I have a dedicated man cave, ahem, listening room, I don't listen to my B-system that much. But the C34V and MC250 combination driving the Tannoy Autograph Minis sounds great - incredibly warm, forgiving and involving. Sometimes I turn it on for background music and it stops me in my track to the point that I have to sit down and REALLY listen.

I paid $800 for the C34V and $350 for the MC250 - whatta bargain!

You will also notice a Mac1700 in the picture. I need to find a good place to put it into service.

PS When I listen the Tannoy speakers you now see on the cabinet are put on custom stands.

Alberto.......Maybe the MAC1700 could be used to drive some outdoor speakers. This is how I use my 4300V receiver. I send the main system signal to the 4300V from the tape out jacks to the 4300 CD in jacks. The speakers on my deck where the bar-b-que is are connected to the 4300V. In this way I can listen to what ever I have on inside, yet control volume, and loudness compensation independently for the outside speakers. Also, I can use the 4300V's tuner when I want radio outside, without having to turn the main system on for a signal. It works great.

DJ.......The C22CE preamp looks very good next to the MC275 MkV. Beat it sounds fantastic.
