Default Info on this Telefunken tube???
Curious if any of the tube rollers know anything about these alleged Telefunken 12ax7's I have sitting around. The diamond on one of them has a "3" and the other has a "5. Any info is appreciated!

I answered my own question when i came across this great video about rare 12ax7 tubes. Great for some basic info in determining what kind of vintage tube you have.

rnrmf1971.......Thanks for the link. The video didn't say what the numbers inside the diamond represent, though. I have ten Telefunken 12AX7 smooth plate tubes. Inside the diamond on the bottom of the tubes I have numbers like 2, 5, 9, 52. I have no idea what they represent. If you find out any additional information, please post it.

A wild guess would be it's part of a date code. Especially since one of them is 52. Maybe it's week 52 of the year ???

My telefunkens have the numbers 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 & 42. Should I be worried?
