Just signed up for New Integra DBS-50.3 Blu-ray player

The latest News that just arrived Via E-Mail.

There is now a little Up-Grade to the New incoming HT (Home Theater) gear.

Had a discussion with my A/V guy (Charles) at Hi-Tech Innovations.

We agreed to up-grade from the lower cost Sony Blu-ray player.
To the just Released at Cedia Sept. 2011,
Integra DBS-50.3 THX certified Blu-ray player.

Charles is placing that order today as I did sign-off on it.
















The reason for the Up-Grade on the Blu-ray Integra DBS-50.3

Is so both the Pre-Amp processor and Blu-ray player match.

Great news Terry....I really think the DBS-50.3 will be a killer Blu-Ray player. I'll be very interested in your comments once you have it set up. It will be a terrific match to your Integra Pre-processor. Congrats in advance!

Just throwing in a little humor.

I just received an E-Mail from my guy at the A/V store.
The Integra has been ordered so it is now in the works.

Also Charles told me the New Runco VX-11d I ordered has arrived and they have it running.
He said the picture looks pretty darn good right out of the box.
They are going to run it to Burn in the Lamp before coming here to do the install.




Man things are all coming together now.

Terry... What is the SRP of the Integra DBS-50.3. I will be upgrading my BluRay player soon. I know the OPPO is well liked here. They retail at $1000.00. I want to compare it to players under that. Hope you get yours soon.

I feel like this player will be more than sufficient to get the job done.
In my case I decided to match it to the Integra Pre-Amp Processor DHC-80.3 I have on order, (Still back-ordered).

I'm going to actually rely on the Runco VX-11d to do my video processing.
So with me saying that I just did not see any reason to dump a lot of dollars in one of the super high dollar Blu-ray players.

Hope this helps in your decision making.

Terry... Thanks. I want to see what my options are. With the OPPO at a $1000.00 I won't spend more then that. Sony seems to have gotten away from there higher end players. I have a local shop that sells Integra need to go over and check it out. Let us know when yours arrives.

Jeff, will do on the delivery and set-up as soon as it takes place.
I know now that none of the Audio/Video is going to take place until after the 1st of March.

I remember seeing Runco plasmas at Nicholson's Hifi in Nashville. Very good video processing for flat panels. I imagine their projectors are no slouches either.
