I have asked on another post, but here it goes again:
The 7Ts are at the top of my list to upgrade my current speakers. My electronics are Simaudio 650D CD/DAC, McIntosh C2300/MC402.

Would appreciate any comments on how does the 7T would work with the above equipment. I am looking at improving the top end air, midrange openness and clarity / detail resolution, which are important characteristics to me.

On a 4.2m x 6m x 3m room with the 7Ts, would I miss a subwoofer?

The other speakers on my list are: ML Summit X, Wilson Sophia and B&W802D. Any one with previous experience with these speakers would comment on how they stack as compared to the 7Ts?

In that price range only the Cremona M and the Elipsa can be consider. The later would be a better option and maybe the best speakers for room dimensions mention above.

Default 7Ts at CES 2013

Has anyone been at Aerial / BAT / PlaybackDesign room at CES? If you did what were your impressions?

Had a set of the original Aerial 7s back in '97-8. Similar driver layout, but different drivers and box was rectangular. The fit & finish was the best of any speaker I've owned. Is Michael Kelly still 'the man' at Aerial? Drove with a McIntosh MC500 based system.

Thank you. I am proud to become a new member. I have a few questions, but will have to get more posts.
If I ever did upgrade from my 10T's, I would surely move to the 7T's.

Steve
