John Meyer (Meyer Sound) have a good analog crossovers, but they have only a few options. Even those they are not selling.
А-20 and А-25 filters based on GIC elements. I very like this solution, but for designing such an elements you need to use a special software.

One last thing, regarding the "up to 96dB slope" I understood that it can be also set to lower slopes, but my doubt regarded what type of crossover the F-25 utilizes. I then read that is a Gaussian type.
I like to think that optimal are 4-th order Linkwitz-Riley crossovers. These sums flat with no lobing errors and have good slopes.
You are right - Accuphase F-20 and F-25 both with Gaussian filters. There are in fact an infinite number of filters that can be used - Gaussian are fine option.
My optimistic note - if you stepped into the area of active audio systems, you will not want back! I'm there for a decades...

Ceslovas,
I fully agree that active systems drawbacks (cost, setup, complications) are more than compensated by the quality one can obtain.

Regarding active analog crossovers, I have a question for you.

Crossovers that have "fixed" frequency boards are necessarily better than crossovers with the possibility to set the points? Or is only a matter of engineering (e.g. price point, etc)?
