Klaudio LP200

Looking for anyone who owns the original LP200 (not the s model).

I picked a used one up a little over a week ago and have a couple of questions.

What I noticed immediately was a gurgling, almost like a babbling brook sound eminating from the right side of the machine during the wash cycle. From the decent U-tube demonstration videos I watched, that sound is not nearly as noisy as the unit I have. I conversed with the seller and he claims the noise was always there.

I have made 3 voicemail calls and 1 email to Klaudio without a response. I contated Acoustic Sounds, because they are the sole distributer in the U.S. for the new model and asked if they had the LP200 at anytime, but they did not. The person I spoke to said that the people at Klaudio are slow to respond, but he would contact them and relay my email and home phone number.

I've used a VPI HW-16.5 in the past and a couple of years ago had a Degritter. Nice machine. But i always wanted a KLaudio, but just couldn't justify the $4k price tag when they came out.

I own 2 of the original Klaudio RCM’s, both operate perfectly. Sorry, I have no experience with the LP200.

The model I am refering to is the KD-CLN-LP200, which I belive is the original. It's the one with the internal resevoir/tank. If this is the one you have, then hopefully you could tell me if the sound I hear is normal.

I have the newer version with the external tank. Mine gurgles when it is filling and emptying after the wash cycle. The original one with the internal tank I think would gurgle also as the wash cycle fills and empties the tank. The tank must empty for the drying cycle to commence. Hope this helps. Not sure how loud the gurgle should be but mine is pretty evident when it happens.

Ok, my bad; that is the ones that I own. They don’t make any real noise until the ultra-sonic cleaners turn on.

The loud gurgling sound is during the cleaning cycle. Yes, there is some water bubbling as it fills and empties, but that is only for a few seconds. This is constant and fairly loud during the cleaning cycle.

Here's a Youtube video that shows the cleaning and drying cycles and during the cleaning cycle, the ultrasonic sound is louder. There is a bit of a bubbling sound, but it pretty faint compared to the one I have.

Mine only gurgles when it is filling or emptying the tank. During cleaning it is the ultrasonic that is loud and very loud if you wear hearing aids.
