Wow, that's awful! It's very different here, we are many miles from the actual fires, but it's eerily quiet and dark with ash drifting down. Anyone notice that animals are quiet? No birds, nothing...

Folks this is really awful and I hope everyone stays safe. I especially think that it is important to remember those who have a respiratory condition. Even a slight increase in environmental particulates can set a person into respiratory distress. Please be safe.
