It's cool because it is so massive and there is an extreme number of cars. On the other hand, it looks kind of boring.
When we were kids one of my uncles had an HO set-up that was about 600 square feet, set up with towns, countryside, woods and water. Sometimes he would let us run the trains. |

Have never been involved with the hobby personally but have always been fascinated by it. Have seen some truly creative setups over the years, whole attics and basements with some amazing scale detail and train/car collections.

Personally I prefer classic Toy Trains. Prewar standard gauge Lionel and American Flyer mostly. Though I do have quite a few prewar O gauge sets. Bright colors with brass and nickel trim. The Lionel standard gauge Blue Comet and American Flyer 1929 President set are true works of art!

Do like that it is almost entirely steam trains with only the occasional early diesel. Looking forward to getting out to Cheyenne when they get that 'Big Boy' finished.
