The veracity of the Esoteric support is likely to be market dependent. I suspect where I am, and what I own, would be problematic to get fixed if it was to break down.

Indeed, particularly since lifting that thing 3 feet from the rack is already an exercise, and I can't imagine having to bring it to and from somewhere remote, or having to ship it off.

I am having the same problem on the K-03, out of the blue the Tray is now not even opening at all. Just keeps saying Tray Error. How did you access the belts, was it by removing the top plate or the bottom plate. Do you have any instructions on how to replace the belts? Where can I buy the belts online? Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem with my K-03 tray which is odd because I rarely play CD's.
No such luck on getting field service here. Unfortunately I would have to ship the 80lb unit to the North American service center in CA for repair/estimate. I've been debating on cracking it open and having a look myself but I'm told Esoteric will not sell parts to the public. |

I will say if you have to send it to the service center in CA they do excellent work and were fast ... at least when I had to have a unit serviced a couple of years back
