Currently using a Jolida FX10 to drive a pair of Totem Arros. The little devil is actually putting up a pretty good account of itself considering the Arro's 87dB efficiency and their 4 ohm rating.

Jeff Rowland Continuum S2...I really love the sound. Dynamic, slightly warm, air around instruments, musical.

Luxman L-590ax with B&W 804 Diamonds. I'm a happy camper right now.

While I rarely have time to "listen" seriously in the warm weather (packing for the trip to Bermuda tomorrow) the sound of my Cary SLI-80 has come into its own after a recap some months ago using Clarity and Nichicon parts. Looking forward to cold weather and some listening time.

I recently got a McIntosh MA7900. It's great, and I plan on keeping it for the duration. I use it in conjunction with a McIntosh MEN220.

My McIntosh Integrated Amps (all bought as a second owner) include:
6100
6300
6600
All did a fine job at the time... and hopefully are making their current owner happy.
But for now it's all about the MA8000 that anchors my Den System and I could't be happier with it.

Hi Jimmy - am wondering what the MA8000 does that your MA6600 did not do?

A few things... The MA8000 has direct digital inputs, it has more power, and to my visual liking it just looks like a million bucks with the design and handles. The MA6600 is awesome but I needed a change.

All had strengths and weaknesses, but I'm very happy with the MA7000.

.

Back in the early 1990's, I have used an NAD 7225 Stereo Receiver (VERY Flexible..... could be used as an Stand Alone Receiver, Tuner/Preamplifier, Power Amplifier or a AM/FM Tuner), which drove my KEF Reference 102's when I first put them into service.

Later, it was used as a Tuner/Preamplifier, and it was used with a B&K ST-140 Power Amplifier.

Afterwards, I have since upgraded to an Adcom GFP-750 Preamplifier and GFA-545 MkII Power Amplifier.
