Default Pre-amp: C52 vs C2600 on MC302

anyone has personally compared the two pre-amps ?
Is the C2600 much more bloom or warmer, or fuller than the C52 ?
anyone has compared the two on the same system with just swapping the pre-amp ?
Would appreciate some inputs...

I compared the C2500 (model before 2600) and C52 and I slightly preferred the C2500 due to a bit more warmth - I also wanted the tube with solid state amp combo and have been really happy with this set up. Either way you can’t go wrong!

I compared the two and felt the midrange was a bit warmer and organic that with the C52 so I purchased the C2600 to go with a pair of 601's for what it's worth. Not the apples to apples comparison you requested.

I had both Preamp, I ended up keeping the C2600 paired with 601 Amp.

I auditioned both with the MC452 amp. They are both excellent. I preferred the SQ of the bass with the C52 and preferred the SQ of the mids with the C2600. I went with the C2600, and like that I also have the option of rolling some tubes over time.

I had a C50 to pair with my MC452 and swapped the C50 for a C2500 and swapped out the stock tubes for a set of Gold Lions.

The C50 was an excellent preamp, but the C2500 sounds a bit more "musical", especially after the tube swap.
