Default D'Agostino Momentum M-400, Pre and Phono Review

There is a awesome review of the M-400’s, the Momentum Pre and Phono Stage in the January issue of TAS. Jacob Heilbrunn really loved them.

Isn't that the guy who owns WAMMs and the matching subs?

I bet they sound good with those speakers

Looking forward to my issue arriving.

I've always wondered, why is it that Wilson speakers have such good synergy with D'Agostino? I do think they sound fantastic together.

It seems as if they are every Wilson owner's dream electronics. Is it because that's the way Wilson speakers are driven at shows and dealers showrooms?

Didn't you answer your own question? They do have great synergy, so Wilson owners want that sound. Unfortunately, it's out of reach for many of us. For now.

I had the original Momentum Stereo power + pre in my Wilson system for three weeks a couple of years ago. They were not at all to my taste and I was relieved to return to my Krells.

D'Agostino amps are among those used at Wilson in speaker development.

Wilson speakers are among those used at D'Agostino to listen to their designs.

As for what one prefers, we're the first to suggest that the Wilsons will allow you to hear what you love about your chosen system driving it.
