Washing your car.
I’m a fan of washing my own car, i.e. in my driveway by hand. I have received too many scratches and such from automatic washes and so called “hand wash” places where they use a broom.
If your a diy hand wash person then you may like my latest garage project. A wall mounted pressure washer with deionized spot free rinse. It’s a package system from Obsessed Garage using a Kranzle pump, 100ft of pressure hose and CR Spotless water filter. While it wasn’t cheap system it is most certainly a high quality system that is giving me great results. I plumbed and installed everything myself. It has a few 1/4 turn valves so that I can wash with regular water and rinse with deionized water for a spot free finish. Also has two water faucets for filling a bucket with regular tap water or deionized water. Check out the attached pic. IMG_1713.JPG

Wow! I am impressed with your diligence. You must BUY your cars. I lease mine. I could never devote that much time and interest in washing my cars. In fact, I generally buy cars that are "dirt colored", which means sand or champagne colored paint. That way I don't have to be concerned with a little dirt.

I also have a Kranzle pressure washer and CR Spotless filter, although not mounted and plumbed as you've done in your garage. I got into all of this because my car is too low to go through a commercial car wash and the hand wash people at work can't figure out how to clean wheels.

Thanks guys. Grasshopper the rest of my 2 car garage is all about woodworking, tools galore. I wash my vehicle in the driveway but wanted the wall mounted washing system for ease of use. Literally I just open a water valve and flip on the power switch and start washing.
