Yesterday night, after 28 hours of use, the 300B gave me the most beautiful and involving sound I ever had in my system.
An explosion of pure emotions.
I never had such transparency while still sounding absolutely natural and "human". The treble harshness vanished.
My main amps got a very pure signal to work with and I felt I was flying. An other amazing point for a preamp full of tubes like this one : it is extremely quiet even with volume turned to maximum. Incredible.
There was a big risk in selling my beloved C1000P. But I am glad I did it. As good as it is, the 300B overcomes the C1000P by painting the sounds with much thiner brushers and a richer palette. Everything stepped to the higher level, from richness of timbres to stereo image to dynamics.
Each recording reveals itself to a point where you might think that the system changed. The C1000P was a "limiting factor" in my system.

The 300B Neo Classic preamp is truly David Manley's Master Piece and one of the best kept secret in HiFi.
I have no more needs for " fully balanced components". I found the "fully balanced SOUND" !

It’s a good feeling to find 300B Manley friends ☺ It gives us the opportunity to exchange experience with different tubes. Hopefully some other users will join the 300B revolution.

C220M275, what type of tubes do you use. I have tried Electronic Harmonix, Shuguang Black Treasure, Psvane and now Golden Dragon Meshplate. Golden Dragon is the best in my experience: transparent, dynamic, corpulent bass and velvety.

Jérôme, how is the 300B planing out? Is it still head & shoulders above what you have had? Just re-read this thread for the second time in as many months, great stuff.

Kev,
For digital : yes, yes and yes ! Much better than the C1000P.
But it does not pair well with my ARC REF Phono 2. The sound is cold and aggressive although extremely dynamic and detailed. Probably too much for me.
New preamp arrived today but did not have time to listen for more than 5 minutes.

I am flying on the stars with my new preamp.
It arrived this morning.
The 300B is a super preamp.
But the one I just got kills EVERYTHING I ever listened to, at dealers or shows.
At 30k it is not cheap but it gives with the monoblocks of the same Master, the most wonderful, addictive, amazing sound I ever heard.

I am blessed.
The Manley 300B preamp and the Snappers will be on sale shortly.

It is a torture not having the right to mention the name of the Master who made them, or to show pics.
They are the end of my trip for my main system.
With a glass of Giscours or Corton Charlenagne, I 'm on an other planet.
My friends are most welcome to visit me and hear by themselves.

What....???? At last, I find some friends and you go over to the other side...

No, just kidding. Congratulations! The stuff you now have implies some heavy investment into "red wine" gear...
