I've been jonesing for an A-95, but they are priced out of my league for the moment (more saving needed), so found a 'deal' on a Cadenza Black. Due to previous commitments will likely not get it mounted, adjusted and into the system until the end of Sept.

Need another headshell for the CB, and am toying with the idea of an Orsonic AV-1B just because they are 'cool' looking.
Careful with the Orsonic, it doesn't suit some tonearms- it was impossible to set-up correctly on my previous Dynavector DV507 Tonearm- the geometry was all wrong.

As far as the Cadenza Black, listened to one set-up on a VPI Prime- and it was outstanding! My mate played a number of albums, Van Morrison Moon Dance- I made him play it twice- just magnificent. (Shindo Amps, Living Voice Speakers).

Think you are correct about the Orsonic. No slots, so no adjustment on cartridge alignment. Another Jelco or Yamamoto headshell (wonder if there is any relation to Admiral Yamamoto?).

I use Yamamoto headshells, the Carbon Fiber for my MC & African Black Ebony for my Mono Cartridge.

Both sound excellent- easy to align & look good as well!

I use the Titanium figure lift which is easy to use & looks way better than the thin bent metal lifter that comes with the Headshell.

Can you post a link to the lift? I'm not familiar with. Have the CF headshell, but may try a wood headshell.
