Default RCA shorting terminals

I was going to plug some Acoustic Revive shorting terminals on some unused RCA jacks (Esoteric CD plates, ARC preamp). Anyone know if for some reason that is not a safe thing to do?

I use these on all unused input terminals on my Accuphase gear without incident. Acoustic Revive makes a different model with a non-conducting center pin that's for use on unused output terminals so as to prevent the possibility of shorting out the jack.
