Thank you very much for the kind words. It's the first system my wife has allowed me to set up in the living room. A big step up from some of my early DIY efforts that in retrospect were properly banished to basement man-caves!

You've got sharp eyes -- those are indeed Stillpoints Ultras under the Blades.

One forum member had trouble with hum with his XP-25 so I am very interested in your hum comments re Decca cartridges.
You are very welcome.

I heard the tiniest bit of hum with the London Reference at first but that was with the ground lead from tonearm to XP-27 detached and the volume cranked much higher than I'd ever dare listening. Re-attaching the ground lead completely banished the tiny bit of residual hum.

With the Dynavector XV1-S it doesn't matter whether the ground lead is attached or not, it is completely silent.
