From what I've been told, the Orangutans were designed to work best with the lower wattage, higher impedance Shindo (type) amp. I believe they are 11 ohm, and that Shindo may be 11 or 16. Someone like Matt over at PPA could shed some more light on the Shindo impedance. Ultimately, I think these speakers sing with your classic SET's. I'm thoroughly lovin' them! So you definitely need to check them out!

Yep, very efficient at 96 db / 10ohm.

I've had them sound incredible with every single Shindo amp. They really let the qualities of the upstream components shine through, each in an individual way.

Countingbackwards yes probably the same association Monbrisson/VTL.
Yes I will take my time to do a real good choice.

As I have already written cdf will receive a haut brion and CCQ.
When they received .Danny calls me for a Listened.

I'll be able Listened Devore 88S/ Nine and O/96 with Shindo.
After I take them and to make Listened to my home for a better choice.

Hi countingbackwards,

I got a st-150 paired with a Monbrisson as well which I've bought at cdf audio (I am located in quebec city) Did you tried your kit with wilson sophia?

Regards,
