Sad. Dan added so much to this forum. He is missed. As he did with so many here, Dan was always willing to help me. May he RIP.

I don't think there's anyone that enjoyed sharing this hobby more than Dan.

I don’t know what to say. Other than I will miss reading his wisdom. He was like an audio prophet...

I have never met dan in person but he was always the calm voice of reason when I read his posts in the forum. I can’t thank him enough for the amazing detail of how to fix the JL Audio f113 and its firing again.

My deepest condolences.

I am shocked by this news.

I don't know Dan outside of this forum but he has been a friend to me. A kind person in my view and a wealth of knowledge in many topics. While I can no longer pick his brain, what he has shared here so far I am still learning from them.

I just saw this thread and am staggered by this terribly sad news. It is a monumental loss to me and, I am sure, a legion of others. Rest in peace my friend.

Default With a very heavy heart...

I’ve been away from the forum for a while dealing with my own health issues. Today after logging on a came across this thread and was stunned to read what has happened. As all of said Dan was a great individual and willfully gave his time to others on this forum. While I never spoke with Dan I, like many, considered him a friend. I will miss reading his posts but am happy to know he will live on here on AA thanks to Ivan and the Legacy pages.

Rest In Peace Dan.

Even though I’m relatively new here I express my sympathies for Dan’s passing. I’ve been on some of the audio boards for a very long time, and can appreciate what a well-respected member like Dan brought to this community.
