Myles, we might check out Jonathan Tinn's Blue Light Audio room at RMAF. In the past, he's had his Studer there playing tapes. I've heard some wondrous stuff...

Very nice collection of the finest available Myles. I hung around the Doshi room during my last RMAF attendance. Nice guy and gear was sounding superb. Love the VPI shot & the view thru your window.

Yes that's usually Bruce Brown's deck. Sometimes a Studer 810, sometimes an A80; all modded with John French's extended response heads. Bruce supplies the analog tape as well as the high rez digital files used in the room. Bruce is the person who does the mastering for HDtracks among many other labels.

I think last year John French brought his ARIA electronics Ampex ATR-102 machine and Bruce had his machine in another room. There are usually a few machines to be seen too such as the UHA machines, the Nagra-T in the Magico room, the Sonorus ATR-10 in Philip O'Hanlon's room, etc. Don't think though this year Dan and Paul (The Tape Project) will be showing or bringing their 1/2 inch Otari MTR-15 deck.

There's also going to be an R2R seminar hosted by Charles King and others on Friday at RMAF. It's now listed on the online schedule for RMAF.

Oh and I'll probably bring a couple of tapes to RMAF!

Thanks Bob! This spring we got to see them shoot an episode of SVU in the brownstone across the street.

I've heard the Tape Project R2R a number of times, though last year they were partnered with VTL gear, which I was not too impressed with.
