Default Mark levinson system

I built this system about 15 years ago. 1 week ago I updated to some B&W 800 Diamonds. I am looking to start further upgrades. I think the next one will be a Mark Levinson number 32 preamp.

Julian, looks nice! Just wondering did you always have the Mark Levinson number 32 preamp in the system? That will be my next upgrade. Can you give me any insight into what the improvements would be? Thanks,Brian

That is a nice system thank you for sharing.

how do you like the 800s on it, and what did you replace with the 800s?

Thanks Dave. I really love the 800 diamonds. They sound really nice and man can they go loud. I also love the quality of them. The fit and finish is awesome! These replaced my B&W 801 Matrix series 3. I bought them brand new in 1996. These 800 diamonds will be the last speakers I ever buy.....

Brian, i had the ml32 pre years ago. It is a fantastic unit. Has an optional phono preamp board that is surprisingly good for a small footprint integrated phono stage.
32 has a silky smooth volume dial, numerous input and output jack options. Built like a tank. Leave ventilation space as the unit can run warm. Sound is clean SS. Not quite the holographic presentation of tube pres.
Ml32 units have held their value over the years. Not sure how the ml52 unit that replaces the ml32 compares.
