After living with the Sophia 3s for about a month, I would say they are an all around speaker. Able to play rock, pop, classical, jazz and everything in between.
Good recordings sounds awesome, not so good recordings sounds very listenable.
Awesome speakers & they continue to grow on me as each day comes by!

My pair of Sophia 3s now have in excess of 120 hrs of break in. Fantastic. I was worried I would miss Sasha long term but Sophias did not disappoint at all and I am very happy with them.

With this in mind, will you still consider getting a sasha in the near future ?

I have not listened to the Sophia 3's, but my Sophia 2's have handled everything I have thrown at the them and not broke a sweat. I drive mine with a MC 402 using Transparent Ultra cables. They do double duty in HT as well. Mainly listen to classic rock, jazz and female vocalists.

Default Home Theater

Here is my main system. I use my Sophia II's in our home theater and I also listen to 2 channel on them as well. I drive them with a MC 402 and a MC 205 to drive the Watch center channel and B & W rears. For two channel I by pass the Rotel processor with a C 2300. The Sophia's sound fabulous on music and HT as well.

It's really difficult to make an opinion about whether or not Sophia II's handle all music well. I have found that the associated equipment makes a big difference on what the speakers sound like and how they perform with various types of music. I will say that everytime I make an improvement with cables or electronics the speakers sound better. Transparent cables sound very good with Wilson speakers as many on this and other forums have suggested.
