Thanks.

90 days ago, I was listening to my Mid-Fi Onkyo/Cerwin Vega ensemble and I asked myself....what the he** am I waiting for. Dead lasts a long time! I have always wanted to have McIntosh. Always.

Then I met Ivan.

Now I just need to learn how to make the most out of everything.

PS Even though it is not broken in and not tuned perfectly, it is the best damned system I have ever personally had the pleasure to listen to. Yes, I don't get out much.

I haven't noticed that they get hot at all. The manual has specs on a cabinet but I didn't like the way it would look on the amp. I therefore modified the rec specs. These are actually bigger and have more "breathing room". The front of the cabinet is flush with the front of the amp glass. Lots of space on top of the amp.

OK, just wondering.

Maybe it is my listening habits but my amps get warm. Warm enough that I run cooling fans on them to keep them from getting any warmer. Mine have several inches of space on all sides.

Your cabinets sure are beautiful.

My rig to date...thinking about adding a PS Audio PPP to power the C1000/MCD1000/MDA1000...just not sure if the C1000 with its balanced overkill power supply will benefit.

'cisco.......I like the darker of the two wood racks. Both are beatiful, and would be a perfect addition to your great system.

Dan,

Your system is Fabulous too. I think its time for you to look for a new wall unit and move the one in your main room to another place. I hate to see you scratch up your nice new pre amp.
