Thank you. So far, I vastly prefer the HP, and I'm sure it will only get better.

John.......Beautiful tube amplifier. PrimaLuna does not disappoint. I have been impressed by their components more than once, although I have not auditioned the HP. Looking forward to your review once you have some hours on it. Congratulations.

That's great to hear. I preferred my DiaLogue One to solid state alternatives from McIntosh, Hegel, Marantz, etc, costing about twice as much and with 3 times the power. Are you using the stock EL-34 tubes?

Thank you, Dan. It was your glowing (pun fully intended!) review of an older Primaluna that partly inspired me to buy this amp.

Thanks, Tony.

Dang: I didn't realize I had so many typos in my original post. Actually, I think something is going on with my Chrome browser. In this instance, I see it repeated two words, and at other times it does weird things when I try to paste over a passage, such as rearranging the words! Oh well. At least my amp works well!

Yes. I don't foresee turning into a "tube roller"!

I know exactly what you mean, but resistance will be futile. 😀 I would recommend you try a set if Gold Lion KT-88's if you get the chance. It will transform the amp. After years of going back and forth between various brands of EL-34, KT-120, 6CA7, etc, the Gold Lions became my absolute favorite tube for the PrimaLuna. Worth a try!

Hey Toccata, I would love to hear what you think of it as a headphone amp.
