We are in a fishbowl. It is known as our universe. Here are some interesting facts. Our observable universe is the cosmic microwave background radiation or the iconic oval shaped image that represents it. It is the oldest light in the universe or 180,000 years after the Big Bang.

The observable universe is 46 billion light years in diameter with earth as its center. Beyond that no astronomer can see.

The cosmic event horizon is defined as the galaxies we could theoretically reach in a spaceship travelling the speed of light. 97% of the galaxies that can be seen are between the cosmic event horizon and the observable universe. These galaxies are traveling away from us at speeds greater than the speed of light. The further away the galaxy the greater the speed and its speed is not remaining constant, it is rapidly accelerating due to a force known as dark energy.

Within the observable universe there are trillions upon trillions of galaxies. We will never know what lies beyond the observable universe because light can't reach us beyond this point.

The universe is infinite. It has no curvature. This poses insurmountable problems for theoretical physics. Why? Infinity is not a real number. It does not and cannot exist within the equations of physics. A physicist will tell you that if you encounter infinity in your equations, your equations are wrong. But the physical universe has been determined to be infinite.

In addition, there can be no traditional Big Bang in an infinite universe. If the universe began as a "spec" of energy of infinite density and temperature, then for it to have reached an infinite size either it would have to expand infinitely fast or for an infinite length of time. Neither of these requirements can be possible with a traditional Big Bang.

So the Big Bang is out the proverbial window.

Because of the immense size of the universe, it is tremendously bigger than we thought, and because of the enormous acceleration of the expansion of the universe due to dark energy, the chances of making contact with ET is essentially zero. I can guarantee you that ET will remain a character of science fiction.

So here is your plight. Your are in an enormous fishbowl known as the observable universe. Science because of its pride and stupidity has failed to recognize the obvious because it has gone down a rabbit hole and has been in Wonderland for over a century. Therefore nothing will come of our science. We will continue on building larger and larger machines (telescopes, super colliders, etc.) in an attempt to understand reality when the truth about reality is quite obvious provided you have escaped the rabbit hole. We will spend billions to send diseased meat bags to Mars. We should be spending these billions healing and reconstructing our genome for the sake of our children.

Aging is a disease not recognized as such by medical science. Mutation is a disease not recognized as such by medical science. Both are the result of a malfunctioning defective genome. You are missing about 99% of your genes. Most (97%) of your genome is pure junk and can't possibly have any usage. Some where between 45% to 67% of your genome is retroviral and these genes can jump at any time causing your death in various ways.

Generally, your doctor is probably in worse shape than you are. Medicine is not so much interested in cures as it is in treatments because treatments are where the money is. What amazes me and continue to amaze me is that the scientific intelligentsia is dying too. If they and their families could somehow by their power escape this nightmare we find ourselves in (the rabbit hole because Wonderland was a nightmare), I could understand it. Science for the most part has become nothing more than a way to feed the mouths of its children, nothing more.

Something I should mention is that 30% of your DNA is intronic. Introns are spacers that separate the exons in the critical DNA structural genes. Introns can contain pseudogenes but otherwise contain no code. So introns are not "junk". They perform a critical purpose. Genes that do not contain introns cannot code for protein. Some sources say 45% of your DNA is retroviral. Some say up to 67%. This leaves about 20% that is potentially undefined gibberish or viral.

The HIV virus becomes a part of your genome when you contract HIV. The HIV virus contains a genome and becomes a part of your DNA. Much of your genome is retroviral and these retroviruses can jump at anytime. These retroviruses contain no introns and always employ the enzyme reverse transcriptase, which is the critical gene the HIV virus also uses to insert itself into your genome.

DNA structural genes contain the vital exons. Exons comprise about 1% of your genome. Exons are the genes from which your proteins are made. It is interesting that of this vital 1%, only about 60% or .6% of your genome actually has a known function, i.e. produces a known protein. The remaining 40% or .4% has no known function. It is truly remarkable how sick and diseased our genome truly is but science absolutely denies this obvious fact because it is in Wonderland.
