Yes.

Jason Isbell is one of the finest American songwriters ever.

Resurrecting this thread.

If you’re a Lucinda Williams fan, check out her new release with Charles Lloyd and the Marvels - Vanished Gardens. Great great stuff - only one new song from Lucinda, but just a great album. It’s Lucinda with a great jazz band - very very cool. I have it on vinyl and the sound quality is quite good to my ear.

She's always been under my radar but after your story, I'm going to see what I've been missing.

Another fan here (wonder if there are any others in South America!?). Love love love her, it's part of the daily playback sessions in this house -even with my wife going "you didn't even make me... come oooonnn!" while the song it's on

I love Amanda Shires but I am not a big fan of Jason Isbell. I have bought a couple of his albums. But I rarely if ever listen to them. I remember Amanda Shires saying in an interview that her favorite singer songwriter was John Moreland. A really good male singer songwriter that gets no attention is Eric Taylor. Check out his self titled Eric Taylor album. Another singer songwriter that I really like is Gretchen Peters. I have been listening to her Blackbirds album a lot lately.

My wife will not stay in the same room w/ Lucinda singing. She cannot appreciate the beauty in her aching drawl. I sure can. One of my favorite female artists.

This is a really well recorded album and shows how good MQA can sound.
