WPINES,

Good recommendation! I know someone around here that has the ARC LS27, DS 450 and Revel Salon 2s - I wonder who that is?

I will post some pics when it is all set up. I'm going to get a new rack and some new art work in nyc next week so it should look pretty sweet.

SurferRosa

congrats on the new pieces to the system. I just replaced my Center/Surround amp with the DS450M for Center and DS225 for Surrounds. I set up the 450M last week and my new center was installed on Friday...Burning everthing in now but have high expectations. I spoke to the ARC guys prior to buying and I think you will like the two monoblocks over the straight 450 stereo version. I was able to listen to both...and while very similar...the 450M has more control at the bottom. Curious...did you pick up the 2 that were on A'gon...there was a set excactly as you described there last week.

Looks like a solid base to build a system on...and the speaker upgrade can follow later.

cheers
