Granted I work for the company, but do yourself a favor and check out an i-series set. Plus you would get the new 20 year warranty. Welcome to AA BTW! The i-series is more than just a tweeter up grade. New crossovers, new cabinet material and build process, new LF drive units... All in all a new speaker from the ground up.

Jeff...I missed this thread entirely a few months ago. Congrats on your OB1is Now that they have been in your system for some 3 months or so, how do you find them compared to the B&W 804S and the 803Ds you demoed?

Hi Cyril. I really like my OB1i's. The 804S were way too bright. The 803D's did sound nice but they are really big (too big for my room). The OB1i's sound very natural. I enjoy listening to them for hours & never tire of them. I really feel like I made the right choice.

You did.
The PMC are the first speakers that I don't think of changing.
They still amazes me like the first day, along with my 2301's....
I'm in true love with them and I thank everyday Mike at AC and Dan at AA for making me discovering these wonders.

Glad to hear it Jeff. It's always great when a plan comes together nicely and makes you feel good about your purchase decision.

Thanks Cyril. My new Charlie Haden Private Collection LP's sound really good with the OB1i's. Thanks for the recommendation.

Congrats on getting your OB1I's. I have looked at and listened to a lot of speakers since I got mine, and nothing has made me want to replace them.

Have fun with them.
