Question PMC owners at AA

Just curious folks,

How many PMC owners do we have at AA ?

Please state your model and the pairing amp/pre or integrated amplifier.
Do you plan to change your PMC speakers or do you believe that they are long term keepers ?

Jérôme.......I own the PMC EB1i speakers, and I could not be happier with them. They are definately long term keepers. They are powered with C1000C/P and MC501 amplifiers.

Default Love my PMC OB1i

Someone summoned me?

You know I love my PMC OB1i. I use a pair of Bryston 7B-SST mono blocks and a BAT VK-51SE tube preamp with it. I recently acquired a new tube dac with ESS chips by Eastern Electric and I think it is a great tube DAC for the money. However, It will not replace my Esoteric CD player.

I will probably will not switch to different brand of speakers anymore. I am not getting any younger @40s, my hearing is not as good as when I was in the 20s or 30s. It is a fact of life that we all undergoes called primary aging. Don't worry guys, it is a gradual process that you will hardly accept. By age 65+, most of us will hardly be able to tell higher and softer notes anyway. So I am enjoying the bliss for now.

Jerome,

I have a pair of TB2i's in my bedroom powered by a 47 Labs integrated amp.

Great little system. No plans to change or upgrade!

Currently have a pair of PMC AML2's and will soon have a pair of PMC TB2i Signature Edition.

Using McIntosh and Meridian gear.

Believe the AML2's will be long term keepers!...

Currently have,

PMC EB1i's - Bryston 7B sst2 X 2
PMC IB2i Center - Bryston 7B sst2
PMC CB6i surrounds - Bryston 4B sst2

Would upgrade EB1i's if a new model came out that had the
same mid-range driver as the IB2i.
