Dan - I streamed a few Tidal Masters albums last night that showed the MQA logo. The sample rate that showed for all of them on my D1100 was 48Khz. Since my Lumin U1 has native Tidal support built-in and MQA decoding support for the first unfold, I wonder why I'm not able to get the maximum sample rate of 96Khz for software decoding?

Andrew.......That is certainly interesting. I use the DAC in my Esoteric K-01X and get 24Bit/48KHz playback of Tidal music files with my Aurender N10, which does not support MQA at this time. The MQA files on Tidal are stored at 24Bit/48KHz so my N10 is just passing that directly to the DAC, no unfolding. Like you said, your LUMIN U1 should be performing the first unfold and delivering 24Bit 96KHz to your McIntosh D1100 DAC. You may want to check and make sure your LUMIN U1 is running the latest firmware.

You may want to start a new thread and ask for help. You can also PM member wklie https://www.audioaficionado.org/member.php?u=236331 He is the Firmware Lead of LUMIN Network Music Players in Hong Kong. He will be able to help you. Hopefully he will respond in your new thread.

As i just posted in the other related thread, I believe MQA Core decoding for the Lumin U1 is only currently supported with their Beta firmware. Once it's made official you should then see the higher MQA Core sampling rates when playing MQA files.

Thanks for your continued help.

The Spreadsheet is now over 4500. That is a lot of traction increasing by 1000 in a month.

There is another spreadsheet on the MeridianUnplugged showing approximately 7300 MQA Titles currently available (region dependent)

This list may have some duplicates that Lumin has removed.

Since I saw this is on another site and not a Google Docs I have not linked to it.
