Sounds like a very cool TT! Did you recently get it? I'm just ecstatic with mine every time it plays! I have no problem in saying the Booplinth was a solid investment and stunning improvement in the sound and performance of my LP12, if you're thinking about the next thing to consider for it.

These are my tools. I have been messing with LP12's for at least 35 years plus and I am still learning.

Man, you are serious about it! I can see it could be very satisfying to keep your own table in correct tune if you have the skills and tools! Nice!

It was out of need. Our closest Linn Dealer for many years was a 4 hour drive one way. I found a wonderful Linn Dealer back east that would sell me Linn Parts and give me assistance while I learned. We now have YouTube.
The Black frame piece is called a cradle. The long bar with the round end is called a Kinky. The silver bar with the level is called a TBAR. That is a very specific tourque driver for the range on screws and such around the LP12. The TBAR you can still buy from Linn. The Kinky, till Linn decides to make them again is as rare as Hen's Teeth.

This past week I bought a scratch ticket and won $500. I also had a $600 credit at my local dealer. So today I went to my dealer and ordered a Lingo 3. I never heard a Linn w/a Lingo just by what I've read. Can't wait to have it installed. It should arrive by the end of the week. For those w/Lingos what was yoiur biggest improvement?

The Lingo 3 is at my dealers. He told me hopefully it will be ready by Sunday. The store is open Tuesday-Sunday and he is going in early to set it up. Can't wait.
