Thanks for posting that link HS. I was discussing the Django's with my Dealer today & agree they are good value high end speakers at their price point. I should clarify I was impressed by them, with the bass reproduction (in that set up) being the only negative

I agree with Mike aka Face. I've lived with these speakers for the last 6 months and the bass is tight as a drum not a ounce of muddiness. I wouldn't compare them to the Marten's Coltrane since they aren't even close in price range or interior components but it's well worthy to compared the Django to a $30K speakers any day.

Perhaps I was imagining it then?

I'm willing to bet they weren't set up right.

I tend to agree with Heavystarch's comments. I recently heard a pair of Marten Bird 2's set up in a different room (with the same Dartzeel amps) & again felt the bass lacking, so I suspect it relates to choice of amp. Bare in mind however i'm comparing the Dart with some big brutes from Boulder, Vitus, Soulution, Rowland, Bladelius etc.

Hello there.

Did you get a chance to compare the Calyx Femto to the Briscati? How did the Femto stack up?

Thanks!!
