No when you rip with the CD software that is all done for you. The BDP comes with a high res thumbdrive which you can look at and see how it is arranged

OK, last one for tonight.


The BDP will be at the one end of a 16 X 30 ft room, and there's a PC at the other end with my networking gear. My options for running ethernet from the router to the BDP are
hardwire with a 50 ft run of Cat5, a wireless connection to an "entertainment bridge", or a "powerline" connection. Wired would be best?

Correct - wired works best.

I was thinking about how I arrange my files on the hard drive and I do it by ARTIST.

However, I also have sub-folders for Compilations, Soundtracks, and Classical. Might be a few more. Oh, yes, and Holiday music.
