C1100 on site and shipping!

Just got back from purchasing my new C1100. I let it warm up for only a half hour before playing my first tune - couldn't wait any longer. I does sound fantastic and has been getting better every minute. It will be replacing my C2300. Here is a quick picture I took. Andy takes better photos than I do, mine looks the same as they all do.

Congratulations Paul, you have a beautiful system. Once the new pre amp is settled in you will have to give as a full review.

congrats is looking very similar to the 500 rig

C1100T arrived at home, and installed, to replace C46.
Stereo scene larger, more details in sounds with low intensity.
Tubes are so beautiful, and the blue eyes, absent on C46

Any thoughts on the MC phono stage?

For me the MC phono stage is the week part of the C1100 just as it was with the C2300. Perhaps as the tubes get more broken it it will improve. I have an excellent Audia Flight phono pre amp already so I am comparing it to that which may not be a fair comparison. My vinyl does sound much better using the C1100 instead of the C2300 going out over the C1100's line stage.
