Sasha 2 MSRP
I was told recently that there has been a price increase on the Sasha 2s. Does anyone know what the current MSRP is?
Thanks. |

Thank you. That is probably it, I saw the new Sophia prices in Stereophile were $22.5K up from $17.9K. Seems to be very little out there on the Sasha 2s, I have only come across one short review so far.
Anyway thanks again. |

I think they are like 35k now, but I'm not sure. I got the early bird special

Wow, a 7k price hike up from the original. And the government says we have little to no Inflation. |

Wilson prices have gone crazy. I remember when the Duette was £12k now it's £21k ! I think this is a case of charging what the market will bear. Guess it helps residuals.

As a former Wilson Sophia 2, 3, and Sasha 1 owner, I submit current prices make Wilson Audio a bad value. Yes, there are speakers that cost more, but many, many that are less and sound very good.

I was the proud owner of one of the first hundred or so Wilson Audio Tiny Tot speakers back in the early 1980's (This speaker was lovingly called the Wilson Watt) and was the first version of the speaker . . . long before the Puppy was introduced.
Wilson's attempts to enhance the bass response included the famous "beard" that hung down below the speaker. I don't recall exactly how much the WATT cost, but seem to recall it was in the $4,000 price range. Since this was the original precursor of the Sasha - I think the prices have, indeed, gone up (a bunch)

It's hard to judge 'value' with this hobby when you consider how much you can spend on cables/ equipment support etc. However I struggle to understand the recent price hikes. Maybe there's a fair explanation but for me it does make a future upgrade less likely - which is a shame....
