Huge loss for the ARC community. He was so young too. ARC now has a big shoes to fill.
The sound of ARC equipment in the last 10 years (as mentioned in the article) is largely due to his tuning/ear.

Very sad news. I believe I read that Bill Johnson's last design was the ref3, but I cannot find the reference. The article states:
