This is my new fully upgraded SurgeX SEQ.

Recepticles - Furutech GTX
IUC - Furutech FI-33
All internal wires - silver plated copper with teflon insulation
All internal wire connectors - Furutech gold plated copper push connectors
All caps - Upgraded to best available
Zenwave Custom Faceplate

This is a new project by Dave Cahoon at ZenWave Audio. He has done an amazing job on this piece.

It is not finished yet, the body will be covered with A beautiful piece of Walnut that I found that is being finished with a piano quality polyester high gloss finish and will sit on Stillpoint SS isolators.

Dan,
My current P5 has shut down for some unknown reason. Zones A, B, and C come on; Zone D is delayed. When D comes on the other zones shut down. I changed Zone D to switched and when I power the P5 on the Zones (a - D) come on momentarily, then shut down and a message comes on the screen "Under Voltage Shutdown". BTW, when the A, B, and C zones shut down I am able to turn them back on manually.

Kevin.......This sounds like a microprocessor issue. I would contact PS Audio immediately to get their take on the issue. Your P5 may require a trip to Colorado.

Trying a new firmware but most likely will need to go back to PS Audio - 2 months out of warranty. Less than 300 hrs on this unit.

Nice. I don't know how many times I have been tempted to replace the receptacles in my Surgex SA1810 (Much less what you have done). I haven't, as it is ultimately designated to end up in my computer system as soon as I get the scratch together for a Torus.

On the Dectet issue. It reminds me on the issue with the early Quintets. Eventually solved by PS Audio issuing a new cartridge. I have one, and have had a Dectet as well that worked flawlessly.
