I wonder what this unit will cost in the US? Nice.

Looks like the fine print states 55,000 british pounds or about $71,000 US (before export fees etc)

I have heard the US price will be $80k. You do save on all the cables required with the Vivaldi stack and I expect this will handily outperform the Rossini but I have not heard it yet. I am a big fan of dCS and like how well they support their products....even the older ones. With speed of change going on in digital, the ability to get meaningful SW updates is a big plus

They have relied on Esoteric transports many times. Best transports in the world!

It is interesting that Esoteric let them use their transport for this special model. For the Rossini apparently they were unable to reach an agreement thus the inability to play SACD's.

Found out this will NOT be at RMAF - only at dealers.

Understand too that upgraded accessory cables are mute & not required. However, I know of an audiophile in Louisiana who has $185K in Nordost Odin cables for his Vivaldi 4 box stack.

Best sir,

Bob

My dealer has indicated that his will arrive shortly. Looking forward to seeing it but highly unlikely that I will be auditioning it in my system.
