I would say they are pretty neutral though not thin sounding. Very dynamic and again you will wonder where all the bass has come from, though it is not uncontrolled bass at all. I would say it even surpasses the MBL 9011 on this front. Of course the Pure Class A bit helps really give them the emotional connection as well.

If you can stomach the sometimes harsh re-sale values they are a best buy imho.

I whole heartly agree, yes I own a Plinius (SA-102)

And they do get warm; my cat loved laying on top of the Odeon.

Long time user of the Plinius 9100, driving my Liuto Monitor. Very good synergy, it leans a bit on the warm side but its very fast and punchy, ample power to drive the Liutos. One thing am missing is a HT bypass. Just bought Liuto Center and REL T5. Now figuring out whether to get AV amp to drive just the center speaker or a AV preamp and a mono...

Decisions decisions..

I have owned a SA-100MKIII for over 12 years. Amp is like new and sounds great. In my current tri-amplified system it is used for the mids. The amp errs on the warm side, more tube like.
