Very nice indeed. It would seem the MC462 is well on its way to becoming the next classic McIntosh power amp.

Nice system you've got there. I own a pair of Sopra 2's and am currently powering them with a MC352 and a C47 preamp. Will be getting a MC462 in late September. What type of sonic improvement should I expect?
Anyone interested in my Pristine MC352 be on the lookout. Will post on Audiogon. 🎶🎶🎶

That sounds like a nice setup you have. Hmm, hard to say because I came from an NAD amp. I'm sure you will hear a noticeable difference, I'm guessing it will be a similar sound signature, but more effortless and do everything better. The speakers will probably open up more. I demoed the 462 with my exact preamp and a pair of Sopra 2's and it sounded really good. It was convincing enough for me to order it. Let me know how it sounds.
