Symposium Acoustics: Svelte Shelf vs Pads
Hello.
Currently all my components are placed on Rollerblocks. This was a major upgrade. I was amazed by the improvement Rollerblocks brought to my system. Everything was improved! Resolution; dynamics; soundstage (placement of instruments and localisation); bass, mids and treble quality... Now I am considering Shelves or Pads. I heard that Rollerblcoks show their best only when placed on Shelves or Pads. Has anybody compared Symposium Shelves and Pads? For example Svelte vs. Fat Pads or Svelte Plus vs. Ultra Pads? And has anybody compared their Rolleblocks placed straight on Hi-Fi rack vs. Shelf/Pads between Rollerblocks and rack? |

I used Rollerblock 2+ oriented ball side down on a Svellte Shelf with great success under my CD player.

I am a huge fan of the exceedingly effective Rollerblocks. I'm using Rollerblock series II under my two cd players and Rollerblock Jr. plus under my B135sst˛ and BHA-1.
I use the Symposium Segue platform under the cd players and the Symposium Isis platform under the Bryston's. They are the least expensive way of making great improvements to any decent system.
