I think it means they are cutting costs by doing more themselves as opposed to just using reps from outside firms.

I think it's a great idea. Most reps carry multiple lines and can't solve problems without contacting the factory anyway. I met the guy from the local rep group in my area. Useless.

Hmm, are McIntosh dealers next? Seems to me, that soon enough all high end purchased would be based on opinion of audio magazine reviews, as there won't be opportunity to audition product locally.

CEDIA is pretty much over so perhaps they are waiting until CES in January.

Unlike with CEDIA it looks like they will be in attendance...
