The real challenge is to keep that huge population on the proper path, maintaining culture of hard work, some traditional values, beliefs and the desire to succeed and accomplish. It would all turn into dust and starvation if the people instead relied on handouts more than work opportunities. Some parts of the world all you see is dust, poverty and hunger.. No system or even a regime can sustain a largely unemployed and unwilling to work society.

Yep Serge. It is scary when driving around parts of China. You can drive for miles and miles and it is one factory after another. A lot has changed in the past 20 years. It is no longer just commodity products which anyone can produce and are sources by price only. Many of factories have the latest technology.

Just think India's population will exceed that of China by mid-century.
