Today, Bill did his Magic once again... this time dialing in LuJr's Evo's and my Futura's. I am very much looking forward to attending Sumiko's Dealer training to learn what seams to come naturally to Bill.

Richard's room has an amazing sound stage, and the Futura's are absolutely stunning. Their Dynamics are off the chart, as I'm sure Bill will chime in.

I am curious Ivan/Bill. Jr had Auditor Ms prior to the Futuras. Is it possible to 'dial in' the Ms or are they not quite up the line enough to bother with the minute adjustments that can make a great speaker come to life? I would like to contact Bill's friend David in Houston but I want to be sure I won't be wasting David's time with my setup.

Cremona Auditor M is our main speaker for teaching speaker set up. Does that answer the question?

Hi Metaphacts, indeed you are the Speaker Whisperer

I have took your advice seriously and managed to fine tune both distance apart and toe-in as well. However, my ears are about 3 to 4 inches below the tweeters and almost aligned with the woofers. I am using the GE for near field listening at about 7ft from the speakers and I find it sounds right when my ears are bought 1 inch off from the tweeters. Has this got to do with the time alignment of both the tweeters and woofers in reference to the listening distance?

If so would it be better to change out my chair to a slightly higher one or play with the speakers rake angle but wouldn't that change the timing?
