Default Kondo Ongaku Pre KSL-M77

They say good things come in threes (well may be pairs in this case).

The addition of a M77 preamp has made a, dare I say it, significant improvement to the audio bliss.

Stay tuned for a short appraisal if I can pull myself away for long enough to write it

No Jerry. Pre and Power are as far as I intend to go with Kondo although i will look into the SUT and see if it is suitable but I am guessing it is only good for the IO-M.

I tried an Ortofon SUT with the M77 Phono and the AR Ref 2 blew it into the cobwebs literally. The loading of the Ortofon was much too low for my Colibri but it will be a fun search to see if a SUT can better the ref 2.

Bro,

I know you well enough ... and one day, I will wait for it to come ... somehow, someway, your system will be ONE brand - Kondo. Analogue I mean ... GINGA to Speakers. Not to mention those silver cables too.

Costs is never an issue, its just a matter of time Bro and I know, you will make it happen! You are already BITTEN by Kondo's bug! I am just waiting for the ONGAKU to drop by my house (if I can afford it) and the GAKUON II installed in yours.

Enjoy the magical MUSIC of Kondo-san's masterpieces!

Cheers!

Psst: I just bought a set of the SAME footers you have - BRAND NEW. Cecil found it somewhere and I just grab them. There's another set, not so nice, some scratches, so I give them the miss.

Congratulations Howie!!! Wow, a lot went on around here on AA during the last 6 days. Last I saw you were just looking. Looking forward to your impressions. Couldn't check out AA because hurricane Irene took out our power for 6 days.
