A cover might cost a bit, but it really helps with dust. It also protects the arm and cart. Well worth it in my opinion.

BTW The Universal is a real sweet arm. It is just a matter of the length you want to go with.

What did you owners do for a Dust Cover to fit?

Link?

Thank you!
I bought the stock one. Don't use it all the time as it is big and bulky, but if the table won't be used for several days, it's on there to keep the dust off. It was about $900 as I recall, which was pricey, but worth it for a table of that price (that I basically want to keep forever). Don't know how much the custom ones are.

I think the Gingko dustcover for a standard Innovation would be awesome, but god I just can't imagine how unwieldy (and expensive) it would get for a Master Innovation at twice the height! Has anyone ever gotten one for that particular table? At that point, there may as well be greater risk from bumping an arm/cart during dust-cover placement/removal than the protection it actually affords. But I'm not (totally) closed off to the idea yet. Now imagine trying to cover up the Clearaudio Statement...

The Universal is indeed a great arm; seems kind of under the radar and underrated these days. Didn't seem to be a great match for a Koetsu stone (Jade), but really rocks when running my Shelter Harmony!

I got my dust cover from my ClearAudio dealer. Someone ordered it and then didn't like it and backed out. So I got it cheap. It is quite a bit taller than my table and has a door that flips open. The door can stay open and rest on the top. It is probably not the cover I would have chosen but it works well. I leave the door open and there is more than enough room to change records. It not only protects from dust but also protects the arm and cartridge from someone accidentally bumping them.

Originally when I was thinking about a cover, I looked into custom covers and it seems to me that they were around $350. for my table.
