At the moment I have my tt, cdp, bray, phono preamp plugged into my PPP. My active speakers are plugged into an Isotek Titan. The Titan is then plugged into the PPP.

This may not be ideal, however, and Paul M has suggested that I plug the Isotek into the wall and the PPP into the Isotek and then everything into the PPP.

Speaker positioning makes this difficult as I would need very long speaker PCs, so I will probably end up plugging the titan into the wall or leaving everything as it is. Have not had time to do a proper assessment of whether the sound is better with the PPP as the sole power source but I like what i hear!

That is what PS Audio suggested to me. Plug my APC S15 into the wall, plug a PPP into the S15 and all sources into the PPP. That way I retain battery back-up and get clean power. (I already get stable power with the APC) That was before I considered PPP for each of the 1.2k's.

Is anyone using a Duet in the wall and a PPP in the Duet?

Perhaps that is what hkval is doing with his set up. I wasn't sure. This seems necessary to gain surge and spike protection.

The Duets are on the way to my home. I talked with PS Audio and they recommend this for my particular setup. Without the Duets, the circuit breaker would just trip and, in most situations, simply have to be pushed back in. In a more severe case the microprocessor would totally burn and have to be replaced. That would require replacement by a certified PS technician. I would not like the inconvenience of sending back the entire unit. Florida climate conditions make spikes, etc. a strong probability in the summer months. So theoritically, the Duets would cook first and that would only require a user replaceable part that PS would send out right away and I could still use my PPP while waiting, simply by switching the plugs. It is a small cost for the safety and convenience.

Plugged into the Premier Power Plant-MC602/MS750/MDA1000 and a Synergistic Research QLS-9 which has 4 SR MPC's/R778/Tube Clock/Subwoofer. Also plugged into the PPP are 4 Noise Harvesters.

The PPP is powered by the Ultimate Outlet which now has a Premier Power Port in it and 1 Noise harvester. The UO is plugged into the wall outlet which is a Premier Power Port.

According to the P3 Int. P4460 kill-a-watt ez the entire system left powered on and playing music costs .44 cents a day to run.

Going to add more Noise Harvesters soon..........
