BTW, the album art shows up and opens properly in "My Computer" for all of my CDs, so I know DBPoweramp loaded it properly.

So, if the art is there on my thumbdrive, it would seem there should be some way for mPad to find it there.
Hi Dave

I will ask Chris but i just find the album art issue a bit of a crap shoot.

OK, James, thank you. Will be interested to hear what Chris has to say. I've been reading old threads here and at other forums on the issue. Other than the Art, I have mpad running exactly how I want it to. Maybe once I hook up to the internet connected home network I'll be able to see the covers.

Also try the Bryston MAX 2 interface and see if it pulls more album art.

Dave, the album art does not load correctly in the mpad for whatever reason. What you can do is load the cover art manually in your ipad. On the URL, my setting is this - http://192.168.x.xx/music and cover filename is - Folder.jpg.

To manually do it. Your mpad should be showing the albums alphabetically. Click the album without the coverart. There is a box under the play album I think its cover art, click that one. It will show you some cover arts in there if you have typed the right URL. It should show the cover art. It also shows you cover arts gathered from the web. Highlight the one you want to get, the entire row should turn blue. Then press the upper right box [done]. The cover art should show now.

I hope this helps.

I have a BDP1 and wonder how does the warranty work. I know there is a 20 year warranty on analog, and a 5 year warranty on digital. The BDP1 is half digital and half analog. So, does the analog portion have a 20 year warranty? Or is it 5 years for the whole thing? Same with the BDA. It is probably 10 percent digital and 90 percent analog.

Hi Dave,

You need to go into the advance setting where you enter the IP address or "bryston-bdp-1.local" for the BDP. Near the bottom it will ask for the local cover art URL. This setting should neither be:

http://<bdp IP address>/music

Or

http://bryston-bdp-1.local/music

Once this has been saved you will need to select each album and use the refresh cover button. If you still aren't seeing cover art try:
-check local cover art is on
-Clearing the over art cache
-uninstall and reinstall mpad

Cheers,
Chris

Sorry blue fox the BDP is 100% digital, even its linear power supply is controlled via a microchip.

Cheers

Yes. I wasn't thinking. I had the BDA mixed into it, and was thinking the output was analog. Duh! Is that why I bought a Shunyata digital cable to connect it to the BDA?
