Thanks Pyro and Ivan for the feedback. The C1000T is certainly an amazing preamp - I've heard it a few times and I know I would not want to let it go if I had one. My expectation is that a C500/1000 would better a pre/pro for 2-channel sound, but if the MX150 is close that is a strong statement. If any other MX150 owners would like to chime in on their 2-channel analog impressions as well please do so...

Mx150 owner here and the 2Ch Pure Stereo is simply amazing! I actually like it better though with the Room perfect enabled and the sub. The sound is much more polished and the sub integration is flawless!

I am very content with this setup and will be keeping it for many many years!
